08. Balancing the Budget Fiasco | Bankruptcy | Sovereign’s Handbook

Anyone with basic arithmetic skills can understand that in a debt-based “fiat (Ø)” paper currency system, one can never balance the budget or pay the “debt (Ø)” . One can only expand the economy by expanding the debt, thus giving the appearance of prosperity and progress for all. So what is all the budget balancing fuss in the halls of U.S. Congress really about? A “balanced budget”amendment is an essential requirement if the “money ($)”system is ever to be restored under the U.S. constitution.

DEBT CAN NEVER BE PAID

Burdening the Public with Debt

The U.S. government’s practice of burdening the public with debt was astutely addressed by economist Henry George in 1904. People in debt are told that they are benefiting from their negative asset condition, but it is their children who suffer, he observed. 

“The institution of public debts…rests upon the preposterous assumption that one generation may bind another generation.” George recognized that foisting debt upon the public is an exercise that would involve “a flagrant contempt for the natural and unalienable rights of humanity.”

George wrote that drawing on wealth that has not yet been created not only robs our progeny, but creates dangerously concentrated power in the hands of government and banks that is certain to be abused. The only ones who gain by such an arrangement are “those who get control of governments.” 

These Power structures are able to amass massive sums clandestinely this way, because outright taxation to acquire the prodigious amounts that they want would immediately arouse indignation, resistance and revolution.

EXPONENTIAL DEBT CURVE

U.S. Federal / National Debt

The official tally of the Ø30.4 trillion U.S. federal debt (2022) is actually much closer to Ø168.9 trillion if you include unfunded liabilities and entitlement programs. During government budget crisis shutdowns, the debt ceiling is raised in yet another undeclared bankruptcy of the federal U.S. government. The National Debt (federal deficit) grows exponentially every second, with interest compounded daily. Total U.S. Debt per Citizen is Ø91,319 dollars (2022) or Debt per Taxpayer is Ø242,500 dollars (2022) compared with merely $131 U.S. Debt per Citizen in 1930. Interest on the debt alone is Ø3.7 trillion (2022) while federal spending is Ø6.3 trillion (2022). Keep in mind that the federal/national U.S. Debt does not include personal or household debt accrued from banks and credit cards. 

Dipping Into Social Security Trust Funds

Back in the 1990s, former U.S. Secretary of Treasury Robert Rubin admitted that borrowing funds from the Social Security Trust Fund keeps the government afloat; “a simple electronic entry”, he called it. 

Unfortunately, there is no actual account to hold Social Security Trust funds safely out of reach of government officials. As money funnels into the U.S. Treasury, it lands in a general fund. When that U.S. Treasury fund is empty, anything borrowed from any source is just an electronic entry. Therefore, it is no surprise that so many funds have simply gone missing and unaccounted for.

Investment banker and chairman of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), Peter G. Peterson announced on CSPAN in 1994 that the U.S. government had borrowed trillions from the Social Security Trust Fund.

Off Budget Expenses

How many dollars have been raided from the government’s forty-seven (47) trust funds? These are hidden debts which the government cleverly terms as “off-budget” and “unfunded liability” items.

The federal/national debt also rises due to “black budget” expenditures which fund an array of the nation’s huge intelligence and national security apparatus. These enormous budget items are off limits to scrutiny for reasons of “national security”. Not even the U.S. Congress or the U.S. President are aware of these expenditures or where the funds go. Another contributing source of the federal/national debt are underfunded programs such as the federal U.S. government employee pension plan which has been shortchanged to the tune of several trillion dollars.

Do the math, add all these numbers up in a calculator, toss in a hundred trillion or so for waste, theft and corruption and the total federal debt is in excess of $300 trillion or more.

End of National Sovereignty of the United States

Former U.S. Senator Prescott Bush, father to the Bush Dynasty of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, helped pass a law in 1961, signed by U.S. President John F. Kennedy, to eliminate the U.S. military and to use foreign troops to police the united states of America.

This was the start of a gradual erosion of the national sovereignty of the U.S. government corporation toward that of a New World Order. The destruction of national sovereignty of the united states of America was almost achieved at the turn of the 21st century by relegating the command of our U.S. military to the United Nations (UN). 

Foreign Military and U.S.Police Powers

Supposedly, U.S. President George W. Bush transferred the command of the U.S. military forces to the United Nations (UN) under their direction and control.

The Global Power structure did not hesitate to use the increasing new “police powers” to enforce their plan for a New World Order. For example, in Bosnia, the largest multinational world army since World War II  was assembled with sixty-thousand (60,000) troops.

In 2004, the “United States” has dozens of distinct federal police organizations with over 105,000 troops including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (BATF) and the U.S. Marshals.

In 2020, there are 697,195 local and state police forces, many of which have been organized “within the United States” under the Multi-Jurisdictional Counter-Drug Task Force (MJCTF) under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. They have long been equipped with military-style weapons, tanks and drones. 

MJCTF was the velvet glove on an iron fist, comprised of not only military and law enforcement personnel, but also of gangsters from the inner city. MJCTF’s avowed purpose was to perform house-to-house search and seizure operations to seize weapons, guns, food reserves and people when ordered. 

The Financial Crime Enforcement Network (FinCEN) were foreign military and secret police brought into the “United States” for deployment against “U.S. citizens” under the authority of an Executive Order (EO) of the U.S. President, Interpol, and the United Nations (UN). 

United Nations (UN) troops have been trained in old military bases in the United States for future actions against We the People, or elsewhere in the world. Since November 11, 1990, UN troops have performed joint military exercises with U.S. troops on U.S. Forest Service land in Arizona, Idaho and Montana. 

Other United Nations (UN) battle groups are in Ft. Drum, NY, Ft. Dix, NJ, NC next to VA, TX panhandle near OK, south of Los Angeles, CA. There are United Nations Naval forces throughout MI, MT and Sacramento, CA.

Along with the National Guard and the U.S. Military, you would imagine this would be enough firepower to wage a war against a now, mostly compliant, agreeable people. 

Except that the U.S. military may not be reliable enough to enforce tyrannical laws or assaults against their neighbors, friends and families unless the soldiers have swallowed the “blue” pill or completed their “woke” training seminars. 

Any soldiers who understand their “oath of allegiance” to the U.S. constitution might offer some resistance to the New World Order plans. There are patriotic U.S. military forces, including the Officer Corp and the Delta Force, that may resist the takeover of our nation by domestic or foreign adversaries.

But soldiers from other countries under the flag of the United Nations (UN) might not be as compassionate in dealing with “U.S. citizen” resistance. Therefore, foreign soldiers may be more reliable fighting forces against the people of the united states of America. 

With the Biden Administration’s “open-border” policies, thousands of fresh, foreign military recruits may be enlisted in the U.S. military, or forced into service due to their illegal status.

Rumors of black military helicopters seen in various locations within the united states of America, many associated with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) operations are true. They have also been engaged in the surveillance of civilians. I had seen an unmarked, black helicopter hovering over my home and office several days before the Internal Re-Venue Service (IRS) raids of February 28, 2001. As it turned out, the unmarked helicopter were taking infrared photographs to locate computers and other electronic equipment which was verified in the search warrant. 

According to eye witnesses, Russian military equipment was being unloaded at shipping docks, and imported from foreign countries to points in Mexico. There are 800 concentration camps in the “United States” that were recently refurbished. What are “concentration camps or reeducation camps” doing here in the united states of America? We had better ask the question before it is too late.

Persian Gulf War Forces Exposed to Biological and Chemical Agents  

Joyce Riley, RN was afflicted with the Gulf War Syndrome and survived to lead a campaign to help sick and dying veterans being shunned by the Veterans Administration (VA) and the U.S. Department of Defense. She said, “Only 143 American men and women died in the (first) Gulf War. Now 10,000 to 12,000 are dead.”

One of a few allies, former U.S. Senator Donald W. Riegle Jr., Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking Housing and Urban Affairs, released a report in September 1993 revealing that U.S. troops were exposed to chemical and biological warfare agents during the Iraq war. Concerned for the health of U.S. veterans and their families, who were also getting sick, he held a U.S. Senate hearing on February 9, 1994 which revealed Gulf War troops were indeed subjected to experimental vaccinations, irradiated foods, radioactive munitions and a toxic soup of substances released by the Iraq bombings. This was localized nuclear warfare which was never fully disclosed to the soldiers on the battlefield.

His committee requested records from the U.S. Department of Commerce to show the U.S. government approved the sale of biological materials to the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission, the Iraq Ministry of Higher Education, the State Company for Drug Industries and the Ministry of Trade before the war again. These were used as weapons which harmed U.S. troops in the Iraq war.

In 1992, a U.S. Department of Defense report called Conduct of the Persian Gulf War said: “(Iraq’s) advanced and aggressive biological warfare program was the most advanced in the Arab world…(The) program…concentrated on the development of two agents, botulinum toxin and anthrax bacteria… Delivery means for biological agents ranged from simple aerial bombs and artillery rockets to surface-to-surface missiles.”

Riley showed twenty (20) different biological weapons loaded into the warheads along with cyanide which was used to make the gas mask filters ineffective. “When the U.S. patriot missiles knocked Short-Range Ballistic Missiles, or SCUDS out at 200 feet over the heads of the American troops, they were rained on with biologicals.”

The following biological materials, all of which have potential weapons applications, were sold to the Iraqis by American companies — Bacillus Anthracis, Clostridium Botulinu, Histoplasma Capsalatum, Bruccella Melitensis, and Clostridium Perfringens.

Orders for E. Coli, genetic materials and human bacterial DNA were shipped directly to the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission. The U.S. military was an accomplice in these 10,000 – 12,000 deaths by approving the sale of materials which violated the Geneva Convention. The U.S. military may be doing exactly the same in Ukraine during the Russia-Ukraine police action.

Ms. Riley also said, “The US government and Iraq violated the Geneva Convention of 1972. There are tremendous criminal and political implications in this.”

The symptoms suffered by Persian Gulf War veterans spread to family members and pets, and an inordinate number of the Veteran’s children are born dead or deformed. Ms. Riley revealed that U.S. troops returning from other wars and engagements are exhibited similar symptoms. “Men returning from Somalia were sick, people returning from Bosnia had rashes and a strange viral illness, and troops on a three-month rotation in Kuwait came back sick with a rash.” 

U.S. Companies Profited from Biological Warfare Ingredients in the Persian Gulf War

Despite U.S. Senate hearings and evidence to the contrary, the U.S. Department of Defense and the Veterans Administration (VA) continued to issue reports concluding that they could find no single cause of the health problems of Persian Gulf War veterans. They were of course, lying as usual.

Peter Kawaja, a security specialist who provided security to Product Ingredient Technology (PIT) in Florida and Ishan Barbouf International (IBI), said germ warfare was indeed used in the Persian Gulf War and that the United States sent soldiers into the war knowing biologicals would likely be used. In addition, the hydrogen cyanide used to render gas mask filters ineffective was tested at Product Ingredient Technology (PIT) for over a year prior to the war.

In 1989, Kawaja was asked to install a hydrogen cyanide detection system for the company. He became suspicious of the company’s motives and reported their activities to the CIA, FBI and U.S. Customs.
The U.S. government told him Ishan Barbouf International (IBI) were “international terrorists” and that the government was going to prosecute them. That never happened. 

In 1990, he sent a secret message to the National Security Agency (NSA) warning that Iraqi intelligence was operating in the US close to a classified military facility. He had obtained audio and video recordings, fax transmissions and paper documentation of federal agents, politicians and the “terrorists” regarding connections to Commodity Credit Corporation-Banca Nazionale del Lavorro (CCC-BNL).
To cover up his discoveries, eight federal agents subsequently burst into his office at the International Security Group (ISG) and confiscated videos and other documentation without presenting a search warrant. This evidence was subsequently sealed for “national security” purposes. Four years later, Mr. Kawaja had it unsealed. 

The documents proved that U.S. government agents knew that Barbouti, who had previously built the Pharma-150 Chemical/Biological Complex at Rabta, Libya, had established a chemical warfare production facility at the PIT plant in Florida. The documents showed that the government was familiar with Barbouti’s ownership of CROSS LINK in Belgium which is connected to CCC-BNL.

 Brent Sowcroft of the National Security Council, was a consultant to BNL. Attorney General Janet Reno appointed John Hogan II to investigate BNL, an attorney from Miami, FL who represented Ishan Barouf International. The only major portion of his BNL Task Force Report that was blacked out is on Ishan Barbouti. 

Apparently, U.S. President George Bush, James Baker III, and John Deutch all had financial interests in some of the corporations that developed, sold and transferred the biological and chemical weapons to Iraq before the war, according to Peter Kawaja and doctors, Garth and Nancy Nicholson.

Electromagnetic Warfare by U.S. Military

Potential uses for the Electromagnetic (EMF) spectrum in warfare was described in an Air Force Document called, Low Intensity Conflict and Modern Technology in 1986. In the forward, Newt Gingrich touted the United State’s ability to successfully cope with low-intensity threats, intimating that electronic weapons are the ideal tools to accomplish that goal. They have been used overtly and subtly.

The Pentagon’s energy weapons development program includes high power lasers that disorient the enemy, strobe lights that nauseate uncooperative crowds, and high-powered microwaves that disable electronic components. The U.S. Air Force already deploys flying transmitters that intercept radio transmissions and replace the content to the controller’s liking.

Operation Sleeping Beauty during the Reagan Administration explored ways to disrupt the human nervous system through electro-magnetics. The program sought to manipulate the reason, emotions and physical sensations of subjects and to “unhinge a human’s mind”. 

Theoretically, practical uses for such electro-magnetic capabilities included the quieting of mobs by triggering mass vomiting, electronically disorienting hostage-takers minds, and the disabling of terrorists holed up in compounds with explosives. In 1990, the U.S. Department of Defense said the Soviets had the ability to produce radio frequency weapons that could disorient people at a distance of a half mile. Apparently, the Soviet’s capacities at mind control were much more sophisticated than those of the United States.

According to Newsweek, Moscow conferred with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during the Waco siege about their technique of beaming inaudible transmissions into a subjects brain. This method would have caused the Branch Davidian’s leader David Koresh to think he was hearing the voice of God in his head. During Waco, the U.S. Air Force offered the FBI one of its top-secret non-lethal weapons which “would have given [the FBI] the ability to make a surprise attack with a large number of agents.”  After Waco, Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno asked the Pentagon and the CIA to join her in further exploration of the use of these “non-lethal technologies” for both U.S. military and civilian law enforcement purposes.

Even though these weapons were billed as “non-lethal”, an article written as early as 1980 in Military Review, said, “…There are weapons systems that operate on the power of mind whose lethal capacity has already been demonstrated.”

In 1994, a U.S. Air Force publication, Defense News projected that it was possible to locate anyone on the planet (through their cell phones) and then target them for disruption through thought implantation techniques delivered by future 5G wireless networks. Similar technologies have been developed to pump millions of watts of electricity deep into the Earth and far into the upper atmosphere such as HAARP.

The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) 

The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is a geophysical weapon so powerful, it is still considered today by many to be a weapon of mass destruction.

The U.S. Air Force site near Gakona, AK is home to HAARP, which is only one among many similar installations across the globe’s “superDARN Highway”, an array of High Frequency (HF) radar now covering most of the northern and southern hemispheres.

Drone Warfare

An unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), also known as a combat drone is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that is used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance. It carries aircraft weapons such as missiles and/or bombs in hard points for drone strikes. 

These drones are usually under real-time human control, with varying levels of autonomy.Unlike unmanned surveillance and reconnaissance aerial vehicles, UCAVs are used for both drone strikes and battlefield intelligence.

Life, liberty, happiness and our unalienable rights as American National or sovereign “state” Citizens have been compromised, assaulted, and violated daily by both willing and unconscious agents of the Global Power structure, and the foreign creditors/principals who control the federal U.S. government. The same applies to “U.S. citizens” who have not yet reclaimed their lawful status as sovereign “state” Citizens of the constitutional “Republic”. Thousands of new “statutes” are passed each year by both federal and state legislatures while those elected to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution routinely violate the law of the land. Beware of any smiling bureaucrat from the government at your door saying, “Hi, I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”

Multifarious federal and state “statutes” have made “criminals” of almost every American, while increasing numbers of people are suffering from unemployment, hunger, sickness, homelessness, imprisonment, and bankruptcy. 

The Global elite’s agenda is to destroy the freedom inherent in the united states of America and around the world, and to control  every facet of our lives. 

Through “statutes” and administrative “rules and regulations”, the federal U.S. government corporation routinely violates your right to privacy, right to contract, right to travel, and rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. 

Similar to the way Adolph Hitler took control of Germany before World War II by instituting “statutes” and administrative “rules and regulations”, both the United States and Global Power structures are rapidly following suit. Those who did not agree with Hitler’s policies were imprisoned or murdered. Those who did what they were told were conscripted into military service on behalf of the Third Reich.

Dictators such as Hitler took over their government with the full support of the central  bankers and major international corporations, including American companies. These international corporations supplied both sides of the war efforts for profit. 

A similar scenario is being perpetrated by the United States, European, Asian and Global Power structures, not only on the united states of America, but on people from around the world under the banner of the globalist’s New World Order. Legions of attorneys and police erode both the constitutional rights and property from the people. Our own U.S. government has become the “enemy of the people”.

The astute observation that the “United States”,now a “national/global police state”, is an overdue and much needed wake-up call for the united states of America and the people of the world. Decades ago, three U.S. Supreme Court Justices (Stevens, Brennan and Marshall) affirmed in the United States Vs. Salerno re: the Bail Reform Act of 1984 that we are living in a “police state”. George Orwell predicted this in his classic book, 1984.

There may be little sanity until We the People get our government back under the political control of the people and hold those in charge accountable to the people. Truth is now an endangered species, as the greatest “lies of our times” are delivered daily via the corporations delivering media propaganda. This is happening as we plunder the Earth, and each other, perhaps to our own extinction. Are We the People lemmings marching blindly over the cliff to our demise? Is this the next apocalypse? 

In the 1990s, the local, state and federal governments provided 100,000 additional police officers on the street, presumably to fight the illusive and useless “wars on crime and drugs”. The war was never against crime or drugs, but against the free people of a sovereign nation.

As a “U.S. citizen”, if you think for a moment that your constitutional, sovereign and/or civil rights are worth anything, subject to all these statutory intrusions and violations of basic civil and human rights – think again. 

Given the political, economic and environmental crises of our times, reclaiming sovereign “state” Citizenship, restoring the U.S. Constitution of the United States with the Bill of Rights may be our final hope for  restoring “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” in the early years of the 21st century. Why hesitate? What have you got to lose except your chains?

Excessive Police and Paramilitary Actions

There’s a long history of excessive police and military force against private civilians in the united states of America as we covered extensively in the previous chapter. Here’s a few other examples from our archives back in the 1990s:

“For decades, these increasingly frequent raids, 40,000 per year by one estimate, needlessly subjected nonviolent drug offenders, bystanders, and wrongly targeted civilians to the terror of having their homes invaded while they were sleeping, usually by teams of heavily armed paramilitary units dressed not as police or peace officers, but as soldiers. These raids brought unnecessary violence and provocation to nonviolent drug offenders, many of whom were guilty of only misdemeanors. The raids terrorized innocents when police mistakenly targeted the wrong residence. Plus, they have resulted in dozens of needless deaths and injuries, not only of drug offenders, but also of police officers, children, bystanders, and innocent suspects.”

Regardless of their personal, political or religious views, none of these aforementioned people should have been the victims of paramilitary action in times of peace. These paramilitary assaults upon civilians were and are acts of war against We the People and must be stopped. If there is an intentional government war against We the People actually going on, and we assert that there is, then we best be in the know.  If we are under attack, then we have a right not only to know who our enemy is, but also how to defend ourselves.

05. Government Protecting the People | Terrorism and War | Sovereign’s Handbook

“Terrorism” has been part of the government’s modus operandi since the founding of the “United States”. Every time, a domestic or international tragedy occurred, either by accident or on purpose, the federal U.S. government expanded its power to “protect” We the People even more. 

False flag operations such as September 11, 2001 (911) created the justification for the U.S. Congress and the U.S. President needed to overcome public resistance to draconian “anti-terrorist” laws. The United States, European and Global Power structure becomes more powerful each and every time. 

Once again, We the People were ready to accept more policing and centralized control in order to feel slightly safer for a moment.  

Increased Security at Airports with ID Checks

After September 11, 2001 (911), increased security measures were instituted at airports, both domestically and internationally, including whole body screening and enhanced Identification (ID) checks. Media propagandists reported that “travelers at airports don’t mind putting up with any inconveniences encountered as long as they can just feel safer.” 

One fake poll at a Miami, Florida radio station found that “90 percent of the listeners approved of the new steps, even if they meant extra delays and even higher ticket prices.” They did not mention violations of privacy or human dignity. The line between freedom of movement and safety increasingly narrows.

After the bomb blast in Atlanta, former U.S. Treasury Secretary William Simon commented, “We’re going to have to do some things that some people, who might be called libertarians, would not like. But nonetheless we’re protecting the people and that’s the job of government.”.

Terrorism is Symbiotic with Government

Terrorists are generally thought of as “enemies of the state”, but their relation to government is actually more symbiotic than truly antagonistic. “Terrorism helps government by encouraging it to expand. If the terrorism escalates in spite of tougher rules, then government power mushrooms some more. This dynamic collusion continues to build until free institutions are completely subverted and a new political order is created,” says William Norman Grigg, writing for The New American.

His observation is nothing new to terrorists on either extreme of the Right-Left political spectrum. William Pierce, founder of the neoNazi National Alliance, and author of The Turner Diaries (pseudonym Andrew McDonald) observed, “More and more, the government will lash out at dissidents, at anyone who is not politically correct. And the two sides will feed on each other. The more repressive and terrorist the government becomes, the more individuals there will be who will engage in terrorism to get back at the government. And the more individual terrorism there is against the government, the more terrorist the government will become in turn.”

This world-view is remarkably similar to that of Brazilian Marxist Carlos Marighella. In his book, Mini-Manual for Urban Guerrillas, he explains that terrorists attack innocent people and subvert public order in order to provoke governments to intensify repression. “The police roundups, house searches and arrests of innocent people, make life unbearable… Rejecting the so-called political solution, the urban guerrilla must become more aggressive and violent, resorting without letup to sabotage, terrorism, expropriations, assaults, kidnapping and executions, heightening the disastrous situation in which the government must act…”

Another striking aspect of  left-right “terrorists” is their method of organizing into anonymous, leaderless cells. The concept was made popular on the extreme right by former Ku Klux Klan (KKK) Grand Dragon Louis Beam. Radical Marxists such as Carlos Marighella developed the strategy in the 1960s. William Grigg writing for the New American astutely asked, “Is this a case of ‘extreme right’ mimicking successful initiatives of the ‘extreme left,’ or is there perhaps a deeper affinity involving conscious deception and agent provocateurs?”

Griggs also pointed out several Communist Party – Ku Klux Klan (KKK) connections. In 1922, police in Bridgman, Michigan raided a Communist Party cell. Documents seized revealed that a cell member had been running a Klan organization under communist direction for several years.

  In 1947, Sam Bowers, who would later become the Imperial Wizard of the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), was a communist as a student at the University of Southern California (USC). Around that time, Jewish fraternity houses at USC were the victims of cross-burnings, other vandalism and defacement.

The police traced the actions to the American Youth for Democracy which later became the Young Communist League. In the 1960s, after he became a KKK Wizard, Bowers still kept his living room adorned with portraits of Marx and Lenin.

In 1964, Bowers held a strategy meeting outlining a plan of which the White Knights were a part. The White Knights were responsible for many bombings, church burnings, beatings, and murders. 

Bowers said he was trying to create a race war with the hopes that troops would be sent into Mississippi to restore order. Bowers predicted martial law would be declared and the state would be under dictatorial control by Washington, D.C.

The radical left was busy too. Meanwhile, a militant civil rights group called the Freedom Democratic Party (FDP) was fomenting hatred among inner city African-Americans. FDP glorified communist urban revolutionaries abroad and taught autonomous cell resistance. Civil rights organizer Michael Schwerner had predicted the same governmental escalation and results as Bowers. Schwerner was killed soon thereafter.

More Control Across the Political Spectrum

“Democrats, socialists, communists and fascists” want government control of every facet of people’s lives. “Terrorist” acts always lead to larger, more aggressive government. 

The federal U.S. government today is infested with Democrats, Republicans in Name Only (RINOs), Socialists, Communists and Fascists, with government bureaucracies being parasitic by nature, The propaganda media is focusing on escalating acts of terrorism and racism, orchestrated from the upper echelons in the United States, European, Asian and Global Power structure for the desired aim of complete and total control of We the People and all the people of the world. 

After all, let us be honest. Governments are all about control, not freedom or the sovereignty of the individual. Would you feel safer if armed government troops were stationed right outside your door for your “protection”?  

By now, I hope you can see the twisted irony of trading off freedom for safety. Always and forevermore, We the People become less free, less sovereign, less safe and more under the thumb of centralized government control. Wake up and feel safety from within. It is up to us to protect ourselves from tyranny.

05. USA Patriot Act / Freedom Act | Terrorism and War | Sovereign’s Handbook

The USA Patriot Act was enacted following the September 11, 2001 (911) and the Anthrax attacks upon selected political officials. The Act was signed into law by U.S. President George W. Bush with the stated goal of dramatically tightening “national security”, particularly as it related to “foreign terrorism”. However, as is self-evident today,  this Act had far reaching consequences for liberty-minded “citizens of the United States” as well. 

Various provisions of the initial version were modified and extended until it expired in 2019 due to the USA Freedom Act of 2015. In 2020, amendments to the initial act was passed by the legislature.

Guantanamo Bay, An Affront to the Rule of Law

The Guantanamo Bay detention camp is a United States military prison located within Guantanamo Bay Naval Base on the coast of Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Of the 780 inmates incarcerated there since January 2002 when the military prison first opened after the September 11, 2001 attacks, 731 have been transferred elsewhere, 39 remain there, and 9 have died while in custody.

George W. Bush authorized Guantanamo Bay as a permanent detention center for suspected terrorists beyond the rule of law. Bush authorized enhanced interrogation techniques and torture for suspected terrorists at Guantanamo Bay.

  Indefinite detention without trial and torture led the operations of this camp to be considered a major breach of human rights by Amnesty International, and a violation of the Due Process Clause of the 5th and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.

National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)

U.S. President Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 into law. Section 1021, clause “b” article 2 defines a “covered person” or “terrorist” as someone subjected to martial law, as the following: “A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.” 

Additional text in Section 1021, Paragraph e, defined the scope of said authority of the military with the text, “Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of U.S. citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.” 

Michigan Governor Signs Anti-NDAA Bill into Law

With a few pen strokes, Governor Rick Snyder (MI) took the first step in getting the Great Lakes State out of the indefinite detention business. This signed bill prohibits any state agency in Michigan from cooperating with the U.S. military if it attempts to indefinitely detain a U.S. citizen without due process.

SB094 bars any state agency, employee, agency of a political subdivision of the state and members of the Michigan National Guard from aiding “an agency of the armed forces of the United States in any investigation, prosecution, or detention of any person pursuant to section 1021 of the national defense authorization act for fiscal year 2012, if such aid would place that state agency, political subdivision, employee, or member of the Michigan national guard in violation of the United States constitution, the state constitution of 1963, or any law of this state.”

The bill unanimously passed the Michigan Senate 37-0 and gained House approval 109-0. Michigan, thereby, joins Virginia, California and Alaska.

05. Crime Control and Domestic Terrorism | Terrorism and War | Sovereign’s Handbook

The FBI has acknowledged that the overall violent crime rate has gradually decreased or remaining steady in many locations, when adjusted against an increase in population outside of large cities. This is contrary to what the deceptive media would like us to believe. In truth, there is not actually an increase in crime except in Democrat-controlled cities, but there has been an increase of prosecutions against specific types of individuals deemed dangerous to the corporate “State” and federal U.S. government corporation.

Beware of the unspoken agenda behind new crime bills and legislation that invents new types of crime. Crime is big business. Crime keeps the people afraid. Crime gives the media something to report about. Crime gives the government justification for stepping in and taking more control from We the People. 

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (H.R. 3355) was the first “superhighway to fascism”. This bill abolished the Bill of Rights, abrogates due process, and eliminates any pretense of checks and balances against the abuse of government police powers. 

This legislation had little impact on street-level crime which has been statistically steady or in decline. This law is only one of a series of statutes passed over decades that have curtailed even the most rudimentary of constitutional and civil rights. 

Any individual or organization in the “United States’ who had or should have had knowledge that an associate might commit a “terrorist act” can have their property seized. 

Politically active organizations are especially vulnerable to the Violent Crime Control Act and the The Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. Forfeiture provisions are written like Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) acts. Broadly written definitions of intent to commit terrorist acts is worded as “appear to be intended.” 

Any attempt to influence the policies of government, either by reason or intimidation, is now interpreted as a “terrorist act”. If a defendant seeks to discover evidence against him-her, the attorney for the government may object on the grounds of “national security”. 

Discovery of witnesses, evidence, and due process have been eliminated. Illegal search and seizure is redefined while eliminating an innocent citizen’s redress in suits against government officials and agents. Sentencing guidelines have been increased for “terrorist crimes”. 

Any organization that the U.S. President declares to be “terrorist”, regardless of any legitimate activity they might pursue, could result in ten-year sentences and/or deportation for Citizens supporting their cause. Due process has been eliminated by permitting the use of secret evidence never shown to the defendant or his-her lawyer.

This legislation further criminalizes acts of violence, which are already illegal, as well as criminalizing donating funds to alleged “terrorist” organizations for humanitarian and otherwise legal activities. It gave new powers to the FBI, and other government agencies, including the military, to investigate political groups and causes.

Informants are afforded incentives for testifying against an accused party. Informants often testify falsely to mitigate their own sentencing. The government has no difficulty recruiting informants to cause the incarceration of any Citizen considered a threat to the government’s political agenda. Additionally, informants and law enforcement agencies focused on the prevention of “terrorist acts” are funded in part by the seizures and forfeitures collected from alleged “terrorists” who must then prove their innocence. 

U.S. citizens, and/or sovereign “state” Citizens, exercising their constitutional rights to free speech, press and association could be targeted by agents who know their jobs with the government depend upon property seizures, fines, and arrests. This is despite the legal fact that Americans Nationals or sovereign “state” Citizens are “foreign” to the federal U.S. government corporation.

  • EO 12949 (February 13, 1995) authorized the Attorney General to approve physical searches without a court order to acquire “foreign” intelligence information. 

Since the Oklahoma City bombing, former Attorney General Janet Reno and media propagandists have slandered and libeled sovereign “state” Citizens, constitutionalists, patriots, tax-protesters, or anyone who disagrees with the government as a “domestic or paper terrorist”. Newt Gingrich was quoted from the floor of the U.S. Congress as saying, “We’re going to nip those sovereignty people in the bud.”

We the People are being labeled by the media spin-doctors as extreme right-wing paramilitary organizations, “white supremacists” or domestic terrorists. Granted, there are a few extreme and fanatical elements in the “sovereignty” movement as there is in any other movement or organization, including the Roman Catholic Church. We assert that extremism is far less than 1% of the tax-honesty and “sovereignty” movement. 

To an unthinking, indiscriminate public eye, an accusation or indictment equals a conviction, in their minds. Too many people do not and will not think for themselves, or even confirm information before drawing conclusions and passing the false gossip on to their friends and families.

ACCUSATION ≠ CONVICTION

Some people are so desperate that they require a “scapegoat” to express their inner rage, anger and frustration, so strong is the emotion and irrational thinking an indiscriminate mind no longer cares who actually committed the crime, so long as somebody gets punished. Then, one can comfortably go back to sleep again. 

Unfortunately, the prisons are full of innocent victims because of this awful mindset, this sickness that pervades American society. This is an extremely tragic state of affairs.

We have already discussed numerous abuses of power over the last four decades. To give these abusively drunk-with-power agencies even more power with less accountability is tantamount to political suicide for the united states of America. 

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 , the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 were both horrible legislation for the freedom-loving “citizens of the United States”, as was the USA Patriot Act. The initial version of the USA Patriot Act expired in 2019, but was amended in 2020. The USA Patriot Act made U.S. military installations and prisons such as Guantanamo Bay possible with no respect for due process of law for the inmates.

04. National/Global Security State, NSA and CIA | Global Power Structure | Sovereign’s Handbook

Establishing the National/Global Security State

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was legislated into existence via the National Security Act (1947) with limited statutory authority.  It originally required that any covert action taken by the CIA must be authorized by the National Security Council. Countless times since its inception, the CIA has exceeded its congressional and constitutional authority.

After World War II, many former Nazi intelligence officers were brought to the United States and placed into various intelligence agencies, including the Office of Naval Intelligence and the CIA.  Having infiltrated many key positions in government agencies and private enterprises with people loyal to various CIA hierarchies, the CIA is a central hub of the actual United States Power structure.

Wiretapping & Due Process of Law

Originally, the National Security Agency (NSA) provided for checks and balances that have become meaningless today. The CIA has taken on functions never intended by the NSA, and has too often breeched its congressional mandate and authority. 

Though authorized only to operate outside of the “United States”, the CIA has been, and is today, involved in domestic affairs within the “United States”, and orchestrating media propaganda campaigns both domestically and abroad through the propaganda, mainstream media which they control. 

The National Security Agency (NSA) monitors phone calls between the United States and foreign nations. With revelations from Edward Snowden in 2013, we discovered that the NSA is prying and spying into every phone conversation on every smart phone in the united states of America. Snowden disclosed to the mainstream media and made public blatant violations of the law by the NSA. His punishment was to become an international scapegoat presently in exile in the country of Russia.

National Security Directives (NSD) issued by the NSA do not have to be reported, reviewed, made available to anyone or even acknowledged that they exist. These NSDs are further evidence of the existence of Power structures operating behind the scenes of de facto government.

The Computer Matching and Privacy Act gives the U.S. government absolute authority and discretion to wiretap phones and plant bugs in homes and businesses without the knowledge or consent of those being monitored.

The Digital Telephony Bill (HR 4922)(i.e. CALEA), passed by the House (Oct. 5, 1994), created and funded a national system for the interception of digital and other communications. It allows the easy isolation of individual communications for government wiretapping purposes, pursuant to a court order or other lawful authorization. 

Telephone corporations that do not comply or assist the government have been shut down. Computer chips are installed in all electronic devices including computers and cell phones so that the government can ceaselessly monitor each Citizens communications remotely.

Undaunted by the public outcry against its maligned Clipper Chip, the NSA has developed the Fortezza Card. This technology encrypts data under the cloak of privacy, but retains a “back door” for government agents who believe they have the right to snoop into your private affairs. 

The NSA remains persistent in its efforts at cyber-spying and tightening its grip on the free enterprise, free expression of the Internet despite initial opposition by Silicon Valley executives. Today, Big Tech and social media companies are step-by-step in alignment with the government’s snooping, spying and censorship agenda.

The Federal Register contained a lengthy, detailed “notice of the maximum capacity required to accommodate all of the communication interceptions, pen registers, and trap and trace devices that the Attorney General estimates the government agencies authorized to conduct electronic surveillance may conduct and use simultaneously by 1998.”

Former FBI Director, Louis Freeh revealed that “Each telecommunications carrier must ensure that it can expeditiously increase its capacity to meet the assistance capability requirements [for] interceptions equal to 1% of the engineered capacity of the equipment, facilities or services that provide a [wired or wireless telecommunications] customer or subscriber with the ability to originate, terminate, or direct communications.”

More and more efforts to legislate and institutionalize welfare IDs, driver license and passport IDs, national IDs, digital banking IDs, travel IDs, vaccination IDs, forced implantation of biochips, contact tracing, and other forms of tracking and surveillance systems are rapidly becoming integrated into every aspect of modern life especially since the COVID-19 “plandemic”.

Executive Orders and CIA

Executive Orders (EOs) can be invoked in secret by the U.S. President. Secret government legislating in secret are evidence of the existence of United States Power structures operating behind the scenes of the de facto government. 

After U.S. President Jimmy Carter ordered the disbanding of the CIA’s covert operations in the 1970s, the CIA went deeper underground until U.S. President Ronald Reagan restored its covert operations. Covert operations and black budgets are evidence of the existence of Power structures operating behind the scenes of de facto government.

Three factions in the CIA are competing with each other. Faction One is controlled by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the White House. Faction Two is controlled by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), and is often at odds with Faction One. Faction Three is a small number of former Office of Strategic Services (OSS) personnel who answer to no one.

Today, the CIA has become so powerful that it can destroy any politician who seriously questions its activities. The CIA meddles in elections both abroad and domestically. The CIA conspires with underworld figures and organizations including the Mafia to carry out all sorts of criminal activities both abroad and in the united states of America. The CIA creates wars to serve the agencies interests, creates enemies such as ISIS, and even fights wars against the United States military, such as in Syria. The  United States military machine has killed more than 20 million people in 37 nations since World War II.

In 1953, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower warned the American people of the dangers imposed by the military-industrial complex, which included the CIA.

Mind Control and the Global Manipulators 

A notorious center of “mind control” and time travel research on the eastern end of Long Island, New York is The Montauk Project. Preston Nichols discovered a blocking frequency that was jamming the minds of psychics he was working with.

A blocking frequency was installed around the Earth to disconnect humanity from other dimensions, similar to being an astronaut on the moon being cut off from Mission Control. “Like radio or television waves broadcasted from a transmitter and decoded by a radio or television set, the human mind decodes thought-waves broadcast by the universe. Some people have their sets tuned for other frequencies and dimensions and are considered talented psychics or clairvoyants. These are talents once common to the entire human species that have been blocked, jammed or programmed out of us by the global manipulators.”

The CIA, and other intelligence communities, have long engaged in “mind control”experiments – LSD and psychedelic experiments in the 1960s; HAARP engaged in weather control and blasting human population centers with Electromagnetic Radiation (EMFs); and training assassins for their political dirty work.

Facebook as CIA Data Mining Operation

Meta, originally called Facebook, was established by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) under the leadership of Mark Zuckerberg, who is coincidentally, a Rockefeller.  

Facebook was founded to operate as a “data mining” organization so as to collect as much information on as many people as possible to control human populations and selectively direct the flow of information. Facebook has very close ties to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

From a national security standpoint, DARPA’s purpose is to find out lots of things about lots of people. Where they are going? What they are doing? What airlines are they using? Who do they associate with? Which types of online books and films do they read or watch? How do they think and feel politically? The list goes on. If you simply follow the money, it is quite easy to see what is happening behind the scenes of this sinister social media network. 

Facebook, the identifying book of faces, is a perfect technological partner to the CIA’s playbook of surveillance, propaganda and media manipulation.

Secret Directives Behind Airport I.D. Checks

Reporters or attorneys who follow federal FOIA requests may be interested in recent efforts by privacy advocates to get the government to release a secret directive that the airlines rely on as the basis for demanding that passengers show an official photo ID before boarding their flight. 

Some privacy advocates consider the photo ID requirement on domestic flights an unnecessary intrusion into the passenger’s privacy, since the metal detectors and luggage screening equipment that is already in place is sufficient to ensure the security of air travel without violating privacy rights.

While airline officials blame the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the photo ID requirement, the FAA refuses to make public the secret directive the airlines say they are implementing. This, of course, raises questions as to why the directive itself is a secret. From the passenger’s perspective, the airlines are saying “the FAA makes us do it”, but the FAA says “no” when asked to produce the document that the airlines claim requires them to ask for photo ID.

Both FOIA requests were rejected, and Smith and Tien are doing more legal research to determine if there is sufficient grounds for a lawsuit. Meanwhile, passengers who refuse to show a photo ID, have in a few cases been prevented from boarding, subjected to abuse by airline officials, or treated with suspicion for exercising their Constitutional right to privacy.  Even more confusing, some passengers are not being asked for ID prior to boarding.”

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

Customs agents routinely search passengers leaving the country for smuggled items, including excess cash. Foreign mail is opened. Bank tellers are being ordered by their employers to report suspicious transactions. The U.S. government can use your household or office garbage to incriminate you, including medical records,  psychiatrist’s records, personal journals, or your attorney’s private notes?

In the wake of events of September 11, or September 11, 2001 (911), the “national security” system was reorganized, integrated and expanded. In October 2001, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was established within the Executive Office of the U.S. President. Due to pressure from the U.S. Congress, however, the original office became a cabinet department in 2003. 

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) integrated 22 federal agencies, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs Service, and U.S. Secret Service under one department. Agencies created specifically in response to 911 were transferred to another new department; the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is but one example.

Censorship is deployed to prevent or dissuade alternative narratives an opportunity to be expressed or shared by suppressing information necessary to make a decision. 

Censorship may involve the outright removal of content, labeling content as false or misleading, the denial of airtime or funding, setting time limits on debates, shouting matches on television, overt threats of litigation, limits on subject matter, a seven-second delay for live radio or television or public humiliation, discrediting ones character or false accusations. This may occur in the legacy or social media or via the internet.

Advertisers influence the media in a similar way by excluding negative reporting on their companies. Bill Gates spent $250 million in grants to the media to accomplish exactly that for their foundation. Do you still wonder why you have not heard any real news lately?

Censorship may prevent the ears from hearing opinions or ideas already prejudged as controversial, invalid or inappropriate, but it also prevents the possibility of intelligent dialogue, conversation, solutions and coalition building. Labeling a narrative or theory a “conspiracy theory” stops the thinking process for many people who will assume the idea or theory is blatantly incorrect or invalid. This is a form of censorship.

In addition to media censorship, we censor each other into compliance and conformity with social pressure, thus denying the free expression of ideas. This mindset begins at home, in families, relationships, churches and schools. When was the last time you had an intelligent conversation on a controversial subject without feeling attacked, and/or invalidated by those closest to you? 

Unfortunately censorship paints us into a corner with nowhere to go. Are we so insecure about our point of view that we must prevent others from expressing theirs?

Book removals on Amazon, book purging at colleges and university libraries and  blacklisting classic literature is on the rise due to legions of politically correct “thought police” strutting around these institutions of higher learning and complaining to the authorities.

Internet censorship is also rapidly on the rise with the largest internet gatekeepers such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, and their respective fact-checking organizations, deleting, removing or labeling content, even other news channels, that either disagree with the mainstream narrative or are not in alignment with corporate politics. 

Facebook and Twitter have large followings in China and Vietnam, countries where those networks are blocked by their respective governments. 31% of internet users worldwide use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) which is credited as an enabler for Chinese internet users to circumvent website blocks.

Julian Assange, Wikileaks, Edward Snowden & NSA Disclosures

Julian Assange and the Wikileaks organization began a bold experiment in restoring accountability to the media and reporting news from credible sources the U.S. government could not allow. These disclosures rocked the world and exposed the shadow government’s dealing with not only our purported enemies, but our allies as well.

Julian Assange has paid a dear price for his courage in data dumping hacked files from government sources that shed light on the criminal activity of many of our political leaders. He has become a targeted, international scapegoat for the lack of accountability in governing institutions. He has been imprisoned, deprived and tortured by his UK captors in a prison cell while facing extradition to the U.S for prosecution. Julian Assange should be acknowledged, celebrated and pardoned, not crucified, for this most important work.

Edward Snowden transformed the political conversation about privacy and security concerns through his disclosures as a private contractor with the National Security Agency (NSA). He leaked documents to the Washington Post and The Guardian proving  the NSA had usurped its constitutional and congressional authority by spying on American Citizens and embassies worldwide. These disclosures outraged the U.S. government and the diplomatic cores of affected nations.

Snowden has been in exile at the Russian embassy in Moscow for many years. He cannot return to the U.S. unless he wishes to face a certain conviction and a life sentence for espionage. He should be protected as a whistleblower, celebrated, pardoned and freed as a hero, not treated like a criminal for his disclosures on NSA violations of the law and the U.S. constitution.

There is no doubt that the legacy news media are no longer reliable sources of solid facts, valid truth and honest opinion. Fortunately, there are now thousands of alternative sources from across the political spectrum. 

Likely, there is a 5% fact base in the legacy news media upon which rests propaganda, advertising, hype, entertainment, spin, corporate and U.S. government narratives intended to distract or misinform us from what is actually going on in our world today. 

Enjoying the Evening Snooze

The legacy news media is spoon-fed a daily dose of snooze via editorial boards, intelligence agencies, public relations departments and advertisers whereas the alternative press is reporting either a counterpoint or a reaction/response to the news of the day.

May we begin to think for ourselves, do our own research, come to our own conclusions and “detox” our minds from the evening snooze. May we learn to either “fast” or boycott both the legacy and alternative press and consider this maxim – “no garbage in, no garbage out”. 

The Global and American Power structures control all major television/cable networks, public broadcasting and major cable/satellite networks. Six corporations not only own, but control thousands of channels with a relatively consistent liberal bias and mainstream narrative. 

The same six corporations control major radio stations, magazines and newspaper chains. Most Americans get a majority of their news, information, opinions and political world view from the same legacy news sources, and now more than ever, from the internet and social media which are revolutionizing the way news is delivered.

What passes off as “news” these days is quite appalling to anyone with a modicum of intelligence and an insult to those who do not have the capacity to distinguish news from entertainment, fact from fiction or what constitutes propaganda and disinformation. 

Too many reporters, journalists and editors are busy snooping into the private lives of public officials and celebrities to actually accomplish any investigative journalism into the real issues of the day. Real journalism is an endangered species. Few have allocated the budgets necessary for independent reporting and investigative journalism as they did in the glory days of great reporters such as Walter Cronkite.

Stealing Attention from the Real Issues

In the early decades of the 21st Century there are serious concerns that deserve more attention than the sex lives of high-profile politicians or some popular celebrity’s most recent scandal. Irrelevant media spin keeps us distracted from real issues and concerns.

 Much of the legacy news media and the internet follows the path of the tabloids (e.g., National Enquirer), focuses public attention on non-issues and directs the political agenda towards the desired goals of the global elite. 

Much of the alternative independent press is busy reacting to whatever the legacy media is reporting to notice what’s really going on behind the scenes and take initiative in digging for the real news. This is changing.

FAKE NEWS = PROPAGANDA

Investigative Journalism & Whistleblowing

Investigative reporting and whistleblowing is difficult and often dangerous for a reporter if you want to keep your job and protect yourself from prosecution. 

Since September 11, 2001, “homeland security” and the resulting over-hyped war on terror, the U.S. government has used “national security” as an excuse for censorship and suppression of the free press.

Reporters whistleblowers and independent journalists (e.g., Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden) have faced prosecution, torture or persecution for shedding the light on controversial topics such as the U.S. State Department or the shadowy business dealings of powerful politicians.

Maintaining an independent, free press is absolutely essential to the continued existence of a healthy constitutional republic. Whistleblowers,  reporters, editors and their sources should be protected by law not prosecuted for doing their job.

A whistleblower is a person who exposes any kind of information or activity that is deemed illegal, unethical, or incorrect within an organization that is either private or public. The Whistleblower Protection Act was passed in 1989. It supposedly protects federal whistleblowers who work for the government and report the possible existence of any activity constituting a violation of laws or rules.

Media Spin. Propaganda & Government Public Policy

Spin doctors, image-makers, and propagandists are key policymaking posts in any government or corporate public relations department. So how is the news engineered and manufactured to justify and then create public policy? 

Spin doctors, and those behind the scenes directing them, create public policy based on public opinion and what the public will accept. Legislators follow by writing statutes which are passed and enforced by the Executive Branch. Lawmakers and politicians don not lead, they follow public opinion often directed by corporate media.

Public policy is shaped by the “image of the issue”, not the “reality of the issue”. Public policy will become what the policy should appear like, not what addresses the issue at hand or solves the problem.

Corporate media may go as far as to manufacture or fabricate the news to suit their own political agenda. Watch the films, Wag the Dog with Dustin Hoffman and Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky. These are shocking realities too true to ignore.

The government, or shadow partnerships within government, may go as far as to engineer a catastrophe or “false flag” operation to justify legislation to further their political agendas (e.g., Waco, Oklahoma City Bombing, 911, George Floyd). A “false flag” operation is an event created by a secret cabal or “deep state” operative within a nation, then blamed on another nation, group or individual to justify an already planned response.

Abandoning the Ship of Freedom

An “independent” press is supposed to be the guardians of “liberty”, but have far too often abandoned the ship of freedom instead. Much of journalism has deteriorated into slick entertainment and sensationalism, even by the old vanguards of the media industry. 

Too often journalists, reporters and anchormen fan the flames of discontent by focusing the news on crime, violence, racism, sexism and government disinformation into their commentary. The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, Washington Post are infamous for fanning the flames of political division and polarization in America. Many others in the alternative media have followed suit.

From the vantage point of this author, responsible citizenship is not meant to be a spectator sport orchestrated by the media and the government. Real issues must never be confused with “entertainment”. Real news is rarely what the media is directing your attention towards. Can you tell the difference between news and entertainment? If not, we are all in terrible trouble.

Since the advent of social media over less than twenty years ago the domain of legacy media and independent press has changed forever in both form and delivery.

In the words of the comedian and radio announcer Scoop Nisker, “If you don’t like the news go out and make some of your own.”

Instead of a few monopoly players on the media board there are now tens of thousands of bloggers, networks, channels, aggregators and compilers of news available for those with the eyes to see and ears to hear. This is indeed good news for a change. 

With more players on the field, legacy media has suffered an extreme loss of viewers, readers and credibility to the extent that many of the old vanguards will either transform their business model or go out of business for good.

With the aid of social media and easy to create websites, We the People can become our own media, become citizen reporters and do our own diligence with the news. 

We the People still have the power to discern and decide what is fact vs fiction. and what is truth. It’s up to us to hold both the legacy media and alternative press accountable for what it reports or doesn’t report.
